Concept: Purple Squirrel is a women’s fashion ecommerce one stop shop for all things fashion that consist of clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry and style news. This audience is multi-generational women fashionistas that are not interested in age-ism, fashion conformity or the boring style commonality of the masses.
Mood Boards
Creating static and digital mood boards is such a cool, methodical, yet highly organized technique and tool. Not only do you capture your visual ideas and make the concept tangible, but you can organize all the elements in to logical and congruent information too. It also allows for flexibility; to see what actual works and what you need to rework. This is the graphic designer’s version of DJ creating a music remix.
Static Mood Boards can be both digital or hard copy, using still images. Dynamic Mood Boards is in a video form and can utilized animation, stills and moving images, and sound. When either one is used correctly, it can set the tone or evoke emotion too. Verbal communication is fabulous when used effectively to describe a vision when pitching concepts. Static and Dynamic Mood Boards incorporated into the concept, strategy and execution works exponentially that transcend verbal communication to tell the visual area of communication.

She is a woman who likes to dress purposely for all occasions that’s going to make a potent statement as who she is as an individual that stands out from the crowd.
